From music to meditation...

Are you interested in learning mindfulness meditation?

Mindfulness meditation is a tool that can help us hold space for what we are experiencing, a way to find some stillness and refuge amid this uneasy world. We are all trying to figure out how to navigate through these anxious and uncertain times and mindfulness meditation is a practice that can help.

Often if we are not mindful of our fears and stress we can get overwhelmed very easily.

I am in the middle of a two-year course to become a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, studying under two great teachers, Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.

I have now started offering private online one-on-one mindfulness meditation sessions. I will be teaching fundamental meditation mindfulness practices via video, and sharing some of the core practices of this training.
With many of us facing more downtime this maybe be the ideal time to learn a new skill that can have so many benefits.

Definition of mindfulness:
In mindfulness, we become aware of what we are experiencing in the present moment and allow it to be without any judgement. It is a practice in which we intimately observe ourselves and how we are with whatever states are present. We become the witness, just being with whatever is arising, without holding onto the experience or pushing it away. We simply let it all be and awaken fully to the moment.
